I hope you are having a wonderful Easter holiday and enjoying this amazing weather!
Today I have a special request for you all. If you haven't heard of this amazing man, Captain Tom Moore has captured my heart and inspired me by his amazing achievement: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/52277760
You can read about him here!
Now Tom is turning 100 in a few weeks and I would love it if you could make and send him a Birthday Card.
His address is:
Captain Tom Moore C/O Post Office Limited
67 Bedford Road
Imagine how Tom will feel on his 100th Birthday when he opens 100's if not 1000's of cards from all across the country. We will be part of making history for this amazing man! Have a lovely week and feel free to share pictures of your cards on Seesaw before you post them 😊 Mrs N xxx
Here a pack full of ideas to make your own Time Capsule detailing this point in History:
Thank you for your ongoing support during this challenging time. For those of you who are self-isolating we have provided work via our Class Pages (Blue Flowers)
There are also learning ideas provided by Lancashire County Council (Red Flower) on the central Classes Page. The websites included in the document need to be check for content prior to children accessing to ensure as a parent you are happy for your child to use them.
Work that has been set on our class pages can be completed in homework books (If you need a workbook please let school know)
We will be launching our Seesaw App from Friday. All children have an access code and work provided on here will mirror in class learning.
The work can be completed via Seesaw and teachers will be able to respond to this. Codes will be sent via Whatsapp/Text message as well as a paper copy.
Children with no or limit access to the Internet will be provided with a pack of work.
Jo Wicks is doing a daily work out.
This will help to keep the household active and will be updated daily.
